Our mission is to provide quality, affordable continuing education for our Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy professionals, enabling them to improve patient care. Topics range from pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders to diagnosis of hip and knee dysfunction in geriatric patients. The format may vary from one- to two-day seminars to short courses. Nationally known speakers, as well as, regional and local speakers are invited to present in their area of specialization. Topics and content are selected through staff surveys and suggestions from participants of previous training sessions.

$300 for the 8 hour course. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve your spot for the course. Registration is limited to 12-14 participants. PTS employees should contact Angie Joellenbeck regarding employee pricing.
Explore diagnoses such as Meniere’s Disease, concussions, migraines, UVL/BVL, and cerebellar CVAs and their effects the vestibular system. Attendees will learn new tests/treatments for BPPV. Hints for ED triage of vestibular patients will be discussed.
Attendees must have attended at least one CE course on vestibular management beyond that which is taught in school. Attendees should wear clothing that is comfortable and are also encouraged to bring a yoga mat.
Rene Crumley, DPT, NCS is a senior outpatient physical therapy at Unity Point Health St. Luke’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department in Cedar Rapids, IA. She received her B.S degree in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University in 1980, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2008. She earned her vestibular certification through Emory University in 2002. She is a board-certified specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, with her NCS earned in 2004 and renewed in 2014.
Michelle Langston, PT, GCS is a senior outpatient physical therapy at Unity Point Health St. Luke’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department in Cedar Rapids, IA. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 1999. She earned her vestibular certification through Emory University in 2006, and cervicogenic dizziness certification through the APTA in 2008. She is a board-certified specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, with her GCS earned in 2009.
