The golf swing involves many regions of the body: wrist, elbow, shoulders, spine, hips, knees and ankles. Injury can occur at any link in the chain at any moment in the swing (back swing, downswing, contact and follow-through) with common reports being irritation at the elbow or wrist (example: golfer’s elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis), rotator cuff strain, or low back pain.
