Topic-Description: This course is designed for PTs and PTAs to expand on their knowledge of current best practices in total knee replacement rehab. Participants will be exposed to the current Clinical Practice Guideline discussing best practice and dispelling common misconceptions with TKA rehabilitation. A lab portion focusing on manual techniques to improve knee ROM and follow up exercises will be included. Participants are expected to wear lab clothing that can expose a knee and bring their own: goniometer, 2 towels, and resistance bands.

Continuing Education Credit: PTS is approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation as a continuing education provider for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, License 216-000021 and 224-000038. Each course is offered for 0.2 CEU (2 contact hours) unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by a participant must be written and postmarked no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled seminar date and will result in a refund less a 15% service fee. PTS reserves the right to cancel the seminar 7 days prior to the scheduled seminar date. All participants will be notified in the event of a cancellation and a full refund will be issued.
